My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Il Gelso Guest House, where the warm embrace of Ferdinanda and Antonio encapsulated the essence of Italian hospitality. As we explored the quaint Trivigno area, reminiscent of my own familial roots, Ferdinanda’s heartfelt assistance in tracing my ancestors left an indelible mark on our journey.Our room, featuring a charming balcony, provided a cozy retreat after our adventures. The tranquil ambiance allowed us to unwind as a family, savoring moments of togetherness. At breakfast, the delicious offerings, including freshly baked bread, offered a taste of Italy’s culinary delights.What truly set Il Gelso apart was its family-friendly approach. Our child, under 12, felt right at home, especially when welcomed warmly by Ferdinanda and her playful dogs.
